About the Directors

Genel and Shelly connected through Movie Making Throughout The Bay, Inc (MMTB) in 2010 when the group was formed by Elena Altman.

Over the years, Shelly and Genel collaborated on multiple short films through MMTB’s challenges.

This year, both directors are partnering to share their love of filmmaking to the public by screening their films at the Orinda Theater on May 1, 2025.
